Welcome to the Guild of Lettings
The Guild of Letting Management has long played an important role in providing the lettings industry with an authorative and supportive framework, helping to maintain and advance professional standards on a broad scale.
A membership organisation, the Guild's key objectives have always been to share expertise, knowledge and practical support with anyone who wishes to start or continue a career in residential lettings.
The Guild's membership packages have been developed to both enhance existing expertise and offer practical support whenever specialist knowledge is required. Members benefit from the Guild's national presence and coverage, being able to freely interact with fellow professionals throughout the UK, on both a formal and informal basis.
With an eye very much on the future direction of the lettings industry, the Guild also actively canvasses members' views and opinions on all industry issues and acts as a conduit of opinion through regional and national council meetings and relevant publications.
A major part of the Guild's drive to continually raise professional standards has been through the development of professional training programmes, courses and workshops attuned to the real and practical needs of the Industry.
Of these the Professional Diploma in Residential Letting and Management has developed into an internationally recognised professional qualification and has been running successfully for 2 years. Accreditation was given by the UK’s largest awarding body Edxecel, giving the course even wider status, recognition and appeal.
Guild membership has grown to include several hundred agents throughout the country and is set to double through the next year. Members range from small independents to large corporate multi office companies including many individuals who are benefiting from our free publications and training programmes.
