Charles Walker MP and Susie Crolla, CEO of The Guild of Letting and Management which is based in Hoddesdon, visited the CHIPS playscheme in Cheshunt on Saturday 29th to present a cheque for £400 which had been raised by letting agents who attended the Guild’s recent annual conference in London.
Susie Crolla said, “Community is the heart and soul of any town. It is so important for local businesses to not only support one another but also to support local charities working in the community. We wanted to support CHIPS who do such a lot for local people, providing somewhere for children with special needs to play and so giving their parents a short break from their caring responsibilities.”
“We hope that the money raised by the Guild will give children some more opportunities to have fun. We are very grateful to our clients who gave so generously.”
Graham Nickson, Vice Chair of CHIPS Trustees said “We are very grateful for the support of Charles Walker MP and The Guild of Letting and Management. The support of the local community is so important in helping us to run our playschemes.”
